ISO 22612:2005 recognizes a test method for measuring the opposition to penetration through complication materials of bacteria-carrying particles.

Due to its act, this ISO 22612:2005 cannot be suspicious as a respected method for expectable quality control but may suit the needs when a material is assessed for compliance with the requirements of current guidelines like EU Directive 93/42/EEC.
